The Journey continues

I majored in art more than 40 years ago. To be an artist or to make a living was a battle waged and lost in favor of a regular paycheck. A good life, but a left-brain choice for sure. Now there is time and my yearnings take me back to my creative beginnings.

In my 20s I expected that everything needed to be perfect to be good enough. Older and wiser, I now understand that practice develops skill, and over time, skill allows you to access your expression. I am 2 years into my re-discovery. I have a long way to go, but also know I have come a long way.

May my journey, successes and failures, comfort you in your own journey. Practice may never make perfection, but it does move you along the trajectory towards confidence  and enthusiasm.
